The wrong incentives, unclear governance, or capital committed on the wrong terms can unravel a proposition before the real issue is fully visible. That is where we come in. In selected situations, we combine judgment, deal structure, and direct participation.

Depending on the situation, that may involve a joint venture, a distribution or licensing structure, staged capital tied to milestones, or co-investment alongside clearly defined responsibilities.

Capital is useful. Structure decides whether it holds.

Many can offer advice or capital. Far fewer will put both behind the same decision.

What we look for

We back people we can work with directly and trust to make hard decisions. The proposition needs to be understandable, testable, and built on economics that hold up under realistic assumptions, not best-case projections.

We are selective because we take operating responsibility alongside the capital. That means fewer engagements, with more at stake in each one.

How engagement works

We typically begin with a short conversation to test whether there is a genuine basis to work together. If there is, we move to a structured assessment: the commercial logic, the operating model, the people, and the terms under which we would participate.

We do not proceed to capital commitment until the governance, incentives, and responsibilities are settled. That discipline protects both sides.

The process is direct and moves at the pace the situation requires. We are not building a pipeline. We are deciding whether to put our name and our capital behind a specific proposition.
